1. Explosion-proof mark.

2. Basic signs: including product name, model, manufacturer name, registered trademark, date of manufacture, etc.

3. Performance safety signs: including rated voltage, current, nominal frequency, light source power and quantity, allowed ambient temperature, specific applicable environment signs, classification signs of lamps, etc.

4. The explosion-proof certificate number proves that the product has passed the formal inspection of the explosion-proof inspection station. Some products are marked with an "x" after the explosion-proof certificate number, which indicates that the product can only be used under certain special safe use conditions, and the specified conditions should be clearly and conspicuously stated in the lamp housing or the product manual.

5. Additional instructions. In addition to the above marks, the detailed instructions necessary to ensure correct installation, use and maintenance shall be given on the lamp, the ballast built-in or in the product manual of the China explosion proof lamp supplier provided with the lamp. Eg:

(1) The allowed working position of explosion-proof lamps. Some explosion-proof lamps are only allowed to be installed and used in a certain position or a certain range of angles. This is because the change in working tension will change the surface heat distribution and maximum surface temperature of the explosion-proof lamps. The main reason for restricting the working position of explosion-proof lamps is to control the highest surface temperature so that it does not exceed the temperature group marked by the explosion-proof lamps themselves and produce dangerous temperatures. In addition, the change of working position will also affect the life and performance of some light sources, and it will also affect the insulation performance and life of the insulating materials, electrical components, and other wires of the lamp. Therefore, the explosion-proof luminaires that have restrictions on the installation and use positions must be clearly stated.

(2) In order to reduce the maximum surface temperature of explosion-proof lamps and reduce the temperature grouping level of products, explosion-proof lamps designed with special specifications of light sources must indicate the name, model, bulb shape and size of the light source, and the manufacturer. If not specified, the maximum surface temperature of explosion-proof lamps may exceed the ignition temperature of the explosive gas mixture in the use environment when the user switches to other light bulbs of the same power, posing an explosion hazard.

(3) Under the most unfavorable conditions of normal operation, the insulation materials of power cables or wires should be marked if the maximum temperature in the lamp exceeds 80t, so as to select corresponding cables and wires. When there are special requirements for incoming cables or wires, the specifications, models and applicable temperatures must be indicated.

(4) The lamp with battery must indicate the type, nominal voltage and nominal capacity of the battery to avoid loss and danger.

(5) For explosion proof flood lamps with light collection and similar performance, the shortest distance from the illuminated object shall be indicated to prevent the illuminated object from being burnt and burned.

(6) The rated maximum operating temperature tω (C) of the ballast coil, the rated maximum operating temperature tc (C) of the capacitor, and the wiring diagram.

Second, the installation

Explosion-proof lamps must be checked from the nameplate and the product manual before installation: explosion-proof type, category, level, group; protection level of the shell; installation method and installation fastener requirements. The installation of explosion proof fluorescent lamps must be securely fixed, the fastening bolts must not be replaced arbitrarily, and the spring washers should be complete. The dust-proof and waterproof sealing ring should be installed as it is. At the cable entry, the cable and the sealing gasket should be closely matched, the cross section of the cable should be round, and the surface of the sheath should be free of defects such as bumps. The excess inlet must be blocked according to the explosion-proof type, and the compression nut must be tightened to seal the inlet.
